EMAS is not only a fantastic acting studio, but it is also where you will find your true self, work authentically and with confidence, and belong to an amazing community of talented artist who form a safe space to explore and support each other and the craft. I’m currently in the first year of the Misner 2-year program and the growth I’ve experienced in myself, and also witnessed in my classmates, has been nothing short of miraculous. I’ve also taken Beginning Acting and Misner Intensive at EMAS and each class has developed me in ways I could have never imagined. The teachers are phenomenal and truly have their students’ best interests and expansion as artists in mind. This acting studio is a home for beginning and experienced actors alike and no matter where you start from, will open you up in the most beautiful ways. I’m beyond grateful for finding EMAS and if you’re thinking of taking acting seriously, I highly recommend this space for your artistic and career development.
I began my journey at EMAS with a beginner class in 2024, and I am now in Year 1 of the Meisner program. The faculty is just marvelous, simply marvelous. I feel so fortunate to be a part of a studio family that continually stretches me as an actor/artist, but more importantly as an engaged citizen and human being. I can’t overstate how beautifully rigorous and eye-opening the training is, how much more braver I am to fully possess and celebrate my truths. Excited to see just how much more I grow by the end of the program!
It’s kind of insane to see the growth in my classmates and myself during Year 1 of the Meisner program. The training is intense but incredibly rewarding, and the teachers create a safe, supportive space where you’re actually encouraged to take risks and push yourself.
I’ve grown so much in a short time and feel way more confident and truthful in my work. If you’re looking for a place to start or to really refine your craft — this is it.
